  1. Guys, thanks so much for your insight when it comes to home recording. I heard some things in Episode #13 that got me thinking about the approach/process I’m using when recording. Definitely gonna try Joe’s idea of blocking out an hour of time, and see what I can get done.

    I’m guilty of starting and stopping, and sometimes never getting back to what I was doing, and that’s gotta stop. Too much music of mine is sitting dormant, and someone needs to be blessed by and through it.

    While I am a Gospel/Christian songwriter and musician, I’m not well-schooled when it comes to EQ, plugins, and some of the technical stuff with mixing, etc, but I do know what my ear considers as decent or good. My only concern is that I don’t want to overproduce my music. I’m a “message first” guy, and need the music to compliment the lyric.

    Sorry for the long rant, but I just needed to share that. Again, thanks so much for what you guys do. Would love the opportunity to train with you one on one and get better.
